THE RESERVE GEAR !

According to the criteria for new reservation , you are going to become poor. we all are going to be economically weak. In fact 80%-90% population of our country are going to be economically weak.

THE NEW 10% RESERVATION . . .

On 7th January, 2019 our Union Cabinet approved a bill for 10% reservations to be given to the economically weak section of the General Category for jobs & Educational Institutions, this 10% reservations in addition to the existing 50% reservation which means it doesn't interfere with it. Now, here arises a question . .

" what's interesting is the eligibility for new 10% reservation ? "

Criteria for Qualifications :

• Have household income less than 8 lakh per year.
• Have Agricultural land of less than 5 acres.
• Have a house small than 1000 sq. feet.
• Have a Residential plot smaller than 100 yards in a municipality.
• a Residential plot of less than 200 yards in a non notifies municipality. 

 

Now, what you can conclude from first three-criteria ? 

1. 80-90% of population of our country are eligible as they fall into this criteria.
2. Obviously, the New Reservation is for General  Category only which would mean more or less 90% people from general category are eligible for this 10% quota. 

So, what kind of reservation is this if almost everyone qualifies for it.

" what's the point in creating this New Reservation ? ? ? "

 

DATA IRONY . . .

Firstly, the data tells us 95%  of  Household in out country earn 8 lakh or lesser in a year. So if individuals are considered 99% people earn less than 8 lakhs. These 99% people are termed " Economically Weak. " 

Secondly, data tells us that 86% of  land holdings are of 5 acres or less. 

At last, where data shows that 80% of  households have houses of 500 sq. feet or less. So you can clearly see the "pattern forming" here.

Economically Weak But Rich Enough To Taxes . . .

According to stats, Income Tax slabs in India starts at 2.5 lakh per year. So, one side Government expect from us that if we earn more than or equal to 2.5 lakh per year, than we should pay the taxes.

On the other hand , government says that if your household Income is less than 8 lakh per year than we are "Economically Backward". So, they labeled us as economically backward as well as demand taxes from us. Again what's the logic in this ?

The Purpose of Reservation . . .

It aimed at uplifting of weaker sections of the society. Caste-based reservation were introduced in our country, there were some caste which were Discriminated against. It's purpose was to end discrimination against those people. Through reservations, they were uplifted to the same level as others and now the success of concept of Caste-based reservation is debatable. Isn't it ? 

Conclude . . . 

I would like to address all the groups who are demanding reservations for themselves in various states. It's of no use demanding reservations. You should be demanding more Jobs, educational institutions, schools and universities because this is the root problem, when there isn't enough jobs, people feel they should be entitled for reservations. There are the reasons why I claim that the new reservation scheme is only a hype, for vote bank appeasement same as being done by numerous political parties over so many years. But this is my opinion. what do you think about it ?
